The Blueprint for Educational ChangeTM is a first of its kind plan of action that addresses the regional education needs across the entire continuum, from pre-kindergarten through post-secondary and on to lifelong success. The Blueprint is the Central Texas community’s effort to build the most successful educational pipeline in the country and to ensure our competitiveness and quality of life as a region.
We as a community must promise that all Central Texas children will start school ready to learn, have equal levels of academic potential and be fully prepared after high school graduation for college, career, and lifelong success.

High School Students Now Earn College Credit for Engineering Courses - 1st NSF Grant to Fund Collaborative Effort

In 2008, a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) helped launch the Central Texas Engineering Education Collaborative, comprising 10 Central Texas school districts, E3 Alliance, Skillpoint Alliance TEEC, Austin Community College, The University of Texas and Texas State University.

Announcing Central Texas’ first School Readiness Standard!

The Blueprint for Educational Change™, announced today a major milestone with the release of the Central Texas School Readiness Standard for Goal 1: Children Enter Kindergarten School Ready. The Central Texas School Readiness Standard is the first of its kind in the state’s history and results from the collaborative work of Central Texas school districts, community early childhood education providers, community organizations, regional experts and local workforce boards.

Countdown to College kicks off

Seven leading educational initiatives have launched Central Texas’s first-ever collaborative college readiness workshop. This unprecedented event – designed to serve as a much-needed bridge for high school graduates between high school and college -- will leverage the expertise of the E3 Alliance and The Blueprint for Educational Change, the University of Texas Institute for Public School Initiatives, and nonprofit organizations Breakthrough Austin, College Forward, Con Mi MADRE, Hispanic Scholarship Consortium, and Skillpoint Alliance to prepare over 250 at-risk students for success in college.
